About

Wildfoot Travel is a Cheshire, England-based polar and wildlife specialist that grew out of the long-running Arctic and Antarctica Bound business in 1989. The company brokers expedition cruises and tailor-made wildlife holidays, working with virtually every major Arctic and Antarctic ship operator rather than running its own vessels. For birders, the Arctic programme includes Greenland, Svalbard, Iceland and the Canadian High Arctic, with cruises timed for the late-May to mid-July seabird breeding window when species such as King Eider, Ivory Gull, Red Phalarope and Brünnich's Guillemot are at their cliff colonies. The firm is a member of AECO and IAATO and supports a number of conservation organisations including the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust and the South Georgia Habitat Restoration Project.
