VSL Travel (Visit Sierra Leone) is a destination management company based in Freetown, Sierra Leone, with operations dating back to 2009 and the current limited company iteration in place since 2021. It runs scheduled and bespoke trips across the country and holds IATA accreditation alongside memberships with ATTA, the Sierra Leone Tourism Authority, and local conservation organisations. The operator's headline birding product is its three-day Picathartes Spotting expedition into the Western Area Peninsula Forest above Tokeh, built around the chance to sit out and watch the West African endemic White-necked Picathartes return to its mud-cup nest cliffs at dusk. Tours pull in over forty supporting species including hornbills, turacos, and forest understorey skulkers.
