VMD Birdwatching Croatia

VMD is a Zagreb-based adventure travel company that has been running specialised nature programmes across Croatia since around 2000. The company is registered with the Zagreb Commercial Court and led by board members Edo Vricic and Laura Popovac, with offices at Horvacanska cesta 17 in the Croatian capital. The firm's birdwatching division covers the full country from north to south. Flagship itineraries include an 8-day "Birdlife of Croatia" trans-country tour, a "Secret birdlife of Green Croatia" wetland-focused programme, and a weekend on the islands of Dalmatia targeting some of the most important seabird colonies in the Mediterranean. Signature species include Cory's and Yelkouan Shearwaters, Audouin's Gull, and Eleonora's Falcon on the Adriatic, alongside Griffon Vultures, Black Storks, and a strong supporting cast of waders and raptors in the karst and wetland interior.
