About
Trogon Tours is the operating brand of Birding Argentina, a southern South America birding and natural-history specialist co-founded in 2000 by Miguel Castelino and Luis Segura and headquartered in Puerto Iguazu, Misiones. From its base on the edge of the Atlantic Forest the company runs birding, mammal-watching, herpetology, photography and botany itineraries across Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Brazil, Uruguay, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Antarctica.
Luis Segura, originally from Patagonia, has more than four decades of guiding experience and authored regional field references for Peninsula Valdes, while Castelino brings deep knowledge of Misiones and the wider Iguazu region. The senior team also includes ornithologists Lucas Marti and Pablo Petracci who lead the southern South America and Antarctic departures.
