Tiffany Kersten (Nature Ninja Birding Tours)

Tiffany Kersten is a professional bird guide based in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and gained national attention with her 2021 Lower 48 States Big Year, during which she travelled the country birding and distributing personal safety alarms to women birders she met on the trails. In 2022 she founded Nature Ninja Birding Tours, offering customized private guiding in the Rio Grande Valley (Starr, Hidalgo and Cameron Counties), the Coastal Bend (Corpus Christi, Rockport), and the Austin area. Tours range from half-day nature or butterfly walks to full eight-hour birding days, with associate guides supporting overflow bookings.
