Tour guideSoloMulti-country
About
This Way is the guiding business of Carlos Henrique Luz Nunes de Almeida, a biologist with a PhD in Animal Biology based in Campinas, Sao Paulo. Operating since 2008 and credentialled as a National and South American tour guide (Cadastur), Carlos runs personalised birding, mammal, and amphibian observation trips across the major Brazilian biomes - Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Pantanal, and southern Amazon.
His itineraries range from single-day excursions out of Sao Paulo and Mogi das Cruzes to multi-day expeditions in Chapada dos Guimaraes, Pocone, and Nobres in Mato Grosso, plus extensions into the Pichincha cloudforests of northwest Ecuador. The service is built around small-group or private guiding with a research biologist's depth on sound identification and natural history.
