Sunrise Birding LLC is a small-group birding and wildlife tour operator based in Cos Cob, Connecticut, founded by naturalist Gina Nichol. The company designs personalised expeditions that pair its own expert leaders with the best local guides at each destination, prioritising successful target-species fieldwork over volume. The operator runs a globe-spanning calendar that covers the Lesser Antilles endemic circuit, Caribbean islands such as Dominica and St Vincent, Cyprus and Greece in the Mediterranean, the boreal forests and Arctic coasts of Finland and Norway, the unique avifauna of Madagascar, and Indonesian West Papua for birds-of-paradise. Latin American destinations include Bolivia, Brazil's Pantanal, Colombia and southern Costa Rica, with additional itineraries to Bhutan, Borneo, Oman, Tanzania, South Africa, and southeast Australia including Tasmania.
