About
Shetland Nature is a Shetland-based wildlife and birding operator running guided tours, photography trips, and bespoke holidays across the Shetland Islands since 2007. The company is led by native Shetlander Brydon Thomason, with a small team of local guides covering everything from seabird colonies to autumn vagrant migration on the northern isle of Unst.
Products span seabird boat trips, otter tracking, killer whale spotting, and dedicated rare-bird itineraries that target the vagrant warblers and shrikes Shetland is famous for in spring and autumn. Photography holidays form a core part of the business alongside straightforward birding tours.
As an owner-guided operator focused on a single archipelago, Shetland Nature trades on deep local knowledge of seabird cliffs, Sumburgh Head, and the outer isles rather than wide geographic spread.
