About

Rann Riders is an eco-lodge and small safari operator based in Dasada on the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, India. The lodge runs jeep, walking, cycling, horse and camel safaris into the surrounding salt desert and Wild Ass Sanctuary, with bird watching offered as a dedicated programme during the winter season and flamingo viewing during the monsoon. The Little Rann is a Ramsar-designated wetland-and-saline-flats complex with more than 250 recorded bird species, including spectacular wintering flocks of Greater and Lesser Flamingos, the elusive MacQueen's Bustard, coursers, sandgrouse and a strong supporting cast of larks, wheatears, chats, warblers and shrikes. Day trips can be combined with cultural extensions to Modhera and Dholavira.
