About

Quasar Expeditions is a family-owned expedition company established in 1986, best known for operating boutique luxury yacht cruises in the Galápagos Islands. The US-based outfit runs 8- and 15-day small-ship itineraries that emphasize intimate group sizes, naturalist guiding and access to the more remote western and northern islands. Beyond Galápagos, Quasar leads overland safaris through Patagonia and offers trip extensions into mainland Ecuador's Amazon, Peru and Chile's Atacama Desert. Wildlife targets in the Galápagos include the full suite of seabird endemics — Waved Albatross at Española, Flightless Cormorant and Galápagos Penguin on Fernandina and Isabela — alongside Galápagos Hawk, the various Darwin's Finches and Galápagos Mockingbirds.
