About

Puerto Rico Birding Trips is a small island-based operator with about a decade of guiding experience, offering bespoke birdwatching and nature itineraries across the commonwealth. The outfit handles everything from short half-day outings for cruise passengers to multi-day endemic-focused tours that visit El Yunque, the karst country and the dry forests of the south. Puerto Rico hosts roughly 300 recorded species and 17 endemics, and the company's tours are structured to give visitors a realistic chance at all of them, including the rare Puerto Rican Parrot, Elfin-woods Warbler and the diminutive Puerto Rican Tody. The team also runs nature-interpretive walks and hiking trips for non-specialist visitors.
