About
Panama Road Trips is a Panama City–based outfit established in 2015 that runs private birding day-trips along the legendary Pipeline Road in Soberanía National Park. The 17-kilometre track has produced more than 450 species and is widely regarded as one of the most productive lowland-rainforest trails in the Neotropics.
The company runs half-day and full-day departures with local naturalist guides carrying scopes, laser pointers, and field guides. Tours focus on antbirds, woodcreepers, jacamars, and the suite of Atlantic-slope specialities accessible from the Gamboa rainforest within an hour of the capital.
