ONshore Birding

ONshore Birding is the solo guiding venture of Josh Vandermeulen, a freelance biologist based in southern Ontario who launched the company in 2020 to focus on local birding and bird-photography tours. Trips are fully customizable and serve both visiting listers chasing Ontario specialities and newer birders wanting identification coaching across the province. Vandermeulen also leads international expeditions for Quest Nature Tours (a Worldwide Quest subsidiary), with trips to The Gambia, Argentina and Colombia, bringing tropical-fieldwork experience back to his Ontario operations.
