Nature2Pixel (Cheong Weng Chun)

Cheong Weng Chun is a Peninsular Malaysia bird guide and wildlife photographer based in Kajang, Selangor, who runs his guiding business under the Nature2Pixel brand. A graduate of Universiti Putra Malaysia in Parks and Recreation Management, he started birding in the 1990s at Fraser's Hill, Kuala Gula and Air Hitam Forest Reserve, and has been guiding visiting birders since the early 2000s. He tailors trips for birders, digiscopers and photographers across the peninsula's classic circuits — Fraser's Hill for highland endemics, Taman Negara for lowland rainforest specialities, Kuala Selangor's mangroves and paddy fields for raptors and waterbirds, and Putrajaya wetlands closer to Kuala Lumpur. Multilingual in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese and Mandarin, he is a frequent first-call guide for English- and Chinese-speaking birders coming through KL.
