MN Backyard Birds

MN Backyard Birds is the Minnesota guiding practice of Judd Brink, a central-Minnesota guide and naturalist who has been leading birders and wildlife photographers for several years from his base in the Brainerd Lakes region. His tours focus on the boreal forests and bogs of Aitkin County and the celebrated Sax-Zim Bog north of Duluth. Brink targets winter-finch and northern-owl specialties as well as breeding boreal species like Connecticut Warbler and Black-backed Woodpecker. Outside guiding he also offers a 'birdscaping' service for clients designing native habitat at home, and has been featured on Minnesota PBS.
