About
The Madagascar Birding Association (MBA) is a non-profit founded in June 2019 and headquartered in Mandrosoa Ivato, just outside Antananarivo. It exists to protect Malagasy birds through education and research, and to encourage international birding tourism by connecting visitors with vetted Malagasy ornithologists and bird guides. The honorary president is ornithology professor Hajanirina Rakotomanana of the University of Antananarivo.
