Legacy Tours

Legacy Tours is a US-based small-group birding company headquartered in Spokane, Washington, and led by veteran tour leader Michael Carmody, whose guiding career spans close to thirty years. His wife Susan Carmody co-leads some of the operator's longer international expeditions. Mexico is the company's flagship destination, with itineraries built around the country's eight principal birding regions and over a hundred endemics, from the Cape District of southern Baja to El Triunfo and the Yucatán. Beyond Mexico, Legacy also runs trips to Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Venezuela, Portugal, Scotland and Cambodia, marking it as a true international operator with a Latin-American centre of gravity.
