Irmãos Mello Birding Tours

Irmãos Mello Birding Tours is run by brothers Daniel and Gabriel Mello out of Casa Tukani in Rio de Janeiro state, with Daniel professionally registered as a Brazilian birding guide since 2012. The operation specialises in the Atlantic Forest avifauna of the greater Rio region. Tours range from half-day Tijuca and Botanical Garden outings to multi-day expeditions through Serra dos Órgãos, Três Picos and the REGUA reserve at Guapiaçu, targeting more than 700 species recorded across the area. The brothers run bilingual trips in English and Portuguese and offer accommodation at Casa Tukani as part of longer itineraries.
