About
IndiGo Birding Nature Tours is a Bloomington, Indiana-based guide service founded in 2013 by David Rupp, a birder with more than 25 years of field experience. Domestic offerings center on south-central Indiana and Kentucky, with tours at Lake Monroe, Goose Pond, Yellowwood State Forest, Brown County, Audubon State Park and the Evansville-area floodplain forests, plus kayak-based birding in Noble County.
Internationally, IndiGo runs multi-day trips to Belize and Costa Rica, where past departures have logged 180+ and 195+ species respectively. The husband-and-wife team emphasises small groups, expert guiding and a mix of land- and water-based itineraries across Midwest US and Neotropical destinations.
