GO Birding Ecotours (Glenn Olsen)

Glenn Olsen runs GO Birding, Nature & Photography Tours (also known as GO Birding Ecotours) from the upper Texas coast, leading birding and natural history trips for individuals and groups. A long-time Houston Audubon member, Olsen has served as vice president of education for the chapter, taught Audubon's birding classes, and led introductory bird identification courses at Rice University's continuing studies department and at Mercer Botanic Gardens. His career sits at the intersection of birds, native plants and habitat, reflecting decades with the Native Plant Society of Texas (where he has served as state president) and active roles with the Texas Ornithological Society, Houston Ornithology Group and Gulf Coast Bird Observatory. Beyond his home patch of the upper Texas coast, he has guided trips to Ecuador, the Galápagos, the Amazon, Honduras and Costa Rica.
