Florida Island Tours

Florida Island Tours is a small ecotourism boat operator based in Goodland on Marco Island, southwest Florida, running private bird and wildlife tours through the Ten Thousand Islands and the western edge of the Everglades. Captains are Florida Master Naturalists, and trips are tailored toward small groups, families and bird photographers. Tours of two to four hours visit barrier-island rookeries and mangrove shorelines for breeding wading birds, shorebirds and raptors, with regular sightings of American White Pelican, Roseate Spoonbill, Osprey and Burrowing Owl in season. Private charters allow itineraries to be adjusted around tides and light for photography.
