Ecotours Wildlife Holidays is a long-established birding and wildlife tour operator that traces its origins to Hungary in 1997, where it remains the registered Ecotours brand for the region. The UK arm, Ecotours Wildlife Holidays Limited (Companies House No. 7530514), has run the on-the-ground operation since 2008, headquartered in Hungary at the Kondor EcoLodge in the Kiskunsag. The company is led by a licensed zoologist-naturalist and cultural guide couple and works with national park rangers and conservation specialists across more than a dozen Central and Eastern European countries.
