About

DutchTours is a small Amsterdam-based operator that runs nature day trips into the UNESCO-listed Wadden Sea and Texel Island, the two most important coastal and wetland birding regions in the Netherlands. Tours pair seal-watching boat trips with shore-based birding for waders, terns and breeding spoonbills in summer and large concentrations of geese, ducks and raptors in winter. The company is a member of the Dutch small-scale travel association VvKR and runs in English, French, German and Spanish, catering to the international visitor market passing through Amsterdam who want a structured day in the field without their own transport.
