About
Diego Gallegos is a Buenos Aires-based professional birding guide and biologist who has been leading tours in Argentina since 1984. He is a former manager of Aves Argentinas, the country's national ornithological society, and co-founded the Buenos Aires Bird Club in 2010, giving him deep ties to the local birding community and access to private reserves around the capital.
His day trips concentrate on the wetlands and grasslands within easy reach of Buenos Aires, including the Costanera Sur reserve in the city itself and Otamendi and Ceibas to the north, while longer itineraries reach Iberá and other Argentine hotspots. Tours are run for individuals and small groups with logistics arranged directly through the guide.
