Comoros & Mayotte Tours is a licensed and registered local operator covering the otherwise hard-to-reach Comoros archipelago and the French overseas department of Mayotte. They are one of the few outfits running organised birding programmes across all four major islands, which between them hold a high concentration of single-island endemics that are essentially impossible to access without ground support. Their flagship birding product is the four-island Comoros Archipelago Endemics expedition, complemented by a dedicated Mayotte Nature and Birding day tour and a Mayotte Lemurs, Bats and Birding cruise shore excursion. Alongside birding they handle marine tours, cultural visits, volcano hikes and diving - useful for visitors combining the islands' endemic avifauna with their reef, forest and volcanic landscapes.
