About
Boletas Birdwatching Centre was founded in 1994 by Josele Saiz and Esther Diago in Spain's Central Pyrenees, combining a specialist birder's guesthouse with guided tours across Iberia. The lodge sits in one of the best raptor-watching corridors in the Iberian Peninsula, with year-round access to Lammergeier and Griffon Vulture cliffs.
Beyond the Pyrenees, Josele guides clients throughout Spain — from the Andalusian steppes for Great Bustard and Little Bustard to Extremadura — and runs tours into neighbouring Morocco. Trips blend nature holidays with photo workshops, suiting both serious listers and first-time visitors who want comfortable lodge-based birding.
