About
Bluetail Birding is a UK-registered specialist bird tour operator (Bluetail Birding Limited) based in Middleton, Saxmundham, Suffolk. The company runs small-group scheduled departures and bespoke private trips, with South Asia as its core competency through long-standing local partner India Nature Tourism, which has operated on the ground since 2009.
Their South Asia programme covers India end-to-end, with dedicated tours through Assam and the Eastern Himalayas, Rajasthan and Gujarat's deserts and wetlands, Sikkim's Trans-Himalayan valleys, the Nagaland Amur Falcon spectacle, and the Indo-Gangetic Plains plus the tiger-rich foothills of Uttarakhand. They also run regular tours to Bhutan, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Beyond Asia, Bluetail offers a curated international set including the Bosque del Apache winter cranes-and-waterfowl tour in New Mexico and a 19-day Papua New Guinea bird-of-paradise expedition. Tours combine birding with mammal and broader wildlife focus.
