About
Birdwatching Belize is a country-wide birding outfit headquartered in San Ignacio in the Cayo District, with US-facing phone numbers for North American clients. The team covers all of Belize's major birding regions — from the cloud forests and broadleaf jungle of Cayo down to the southern lowlands of Stann Creek and Toledo, and across the wetlands and savannas of Orange Walk and Corozal in the north.
Belize sits along the Mesoamerican corridor and hosts around 574 recorded bird species, and Birdwatching Belize tailors customised itineraries for both lifer-chasers and casual birders. As the only English-speaking country in Central America with a short hop from the US, the operator pitches itself as an accessible introduction to Neotropical birding led by guides with backgrounds in fieldwork and conservation.
