About
Birds of Kuwait is a Kuwait-based birding outfit running seasonal autumn/winter and spring tours within Kuwait, plus targeted trips to neighboring Western Palearctic destinations. Their Southwest Saudi Arabia itinerary focuses on the eighteen Arabian endemics of the Asir highlands and a suite of African- and Oriental-origin species that just reach the peninsula.
The site also functions as a regional records hub — recent reports include the first Lesser Striped Swallow for Kuwait and the Western Palearctic — and the team maintains Arabic-language bird lists and KORC documentation. Beyond the peninsula, the operation has documented one-off expeditions to destinations as far afield as Ghana.
