About
Birdnomad is a Mexico-based independent bird guide running personalised tours out of Mexico City, with regular trips into Morelos and the lowlands of central Mexico as well as set itineraries in Oaxaca. The operator specialises in Mexican endemics and range-restricted species, with more than 30 endemics on the target list across the area.
Morelos and the adjacent central-Mexico lowlands deliver birds such as Banded Quail, Dusky Hummingbird, Pileated Flycatcher, Golden Vireo and Orange-breasted Bunting, while the Mexico City woodlands hold Red Warbler, Striped Sparrow and Russet Nightingale-Thrush. Tours are run in Spanish and English and are bookable as scheduled outings or custom days.
