Birding The Strait

Birding The Strait is a licensed travel agency based in Tarifa, Andalucía, founded around the unrivalled raptor migration spectacle of the Strait of Gibraltar. Principal guides Javi Elorriaga and Yeray Seminario built the company around their deep field experience in Cádiz province and northern Morocco; Javi is a former Spanish Rarities Committee member with extensive raptor publications, and Yeray is a working wildlife photographer. The team holds Andalucía travel-agency licensing (RTA: C.I.AN-117214-3). The company runs scheduled small-group tours (typically 6–7 participants) across southern Spain, northern Morocco and, more recently, a 15-day Senegal expedition introducing clients to West African avifauna. They also custom-design itineraries for international tour operators and serve as ground agents for visiting birders to the wider Western Palearctic crossing point.
