About
Birding in Ladakh is a Leh-based wildlife and birding outfit operating in the high-altitude trans-Himalayan landscapes of Ladakh in northern India. The team runs day trips and longer package tours through the Indus Valley, the Tso Kar and Tso Moriri lake basins, and the side valleys north and south of Leh.
The company is a member of ALTOA (the All Ladakh Tour Operators Association) and is registered with the local LAHDC authority, and pairs birding with general wildlife and photography itineraries. Ladakh's flagship species — Black-necked Crane, Ibisbill, and Tibetan Snowcock — anchor most trips.
