Birding in Italy

About
Birding in Italy is the guiding service of Marco Valtriani, a field biologist and independent nature guide based in Capolona near Arezzo, Tuscany. Valtriani runs fully customized birding tours covering more than 550 species across the length of Italy, from the Alpine and pre-Alpine north through the central Apennines to Sicily, Sardinia, and the southern lowlands.
Alongside conventional birding, Birding in Italy offers themed packages combining ornithology with Italian art and archaeology — the "Feathers and Frescoes" and "Archeobirding" programs — which pair fieldwork with visits to Renaissance towns and Etruscan or Roman sites.
