Birding Galicia

Birding Galicia is the birdwatching brand of Habitaq SL, an environmental-consultancy and ecotourism company led by biologist and ornithologist Xabier Vázquez Pumariño. The team is based in northwestern Spain and specializes in tailor-made birding tours across Galicia, including the mountain ranges of Lugo and the cliffs and seabird passage off the Galician coast. Habitaq also coordinates birding-tourism development for the Galicia regional government (Xunta de Galicia), which gives the operator close working knowledge of access, hides, and seasonal hotspots. Tours range from one-day outings to multi-day itineraries timed for the autumn seabird passage from July to November.
