Bird Treks is a small-group birding tour company that has been running custom and scheduled trips for more than two decades. The operator is owned and operated by Birding Ecotours LLC and offers tightly focused itineraries across the contiguous United States, including specialty destinations from Maine and Florida to Texas, California, Arizona and Alaska, along with Canadian routes in British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec and New Brunswick. Beyond North America, Bird Treks runs Galapagos departures and serves as a North American entry point to Birding Ecotours' worldwide programme covering Europe, Asia, Africa and Australasia. Tours are led by guides such as Chris Lotz, Jacob Roalef and Galo Real, with an emphasis on hard-to-find local specialties and modest group sizes.
