Bird Malaysia

Bird Malaysia is the birding arm of Natural History Tours SDN BHD, an operator based on Langkawi Island that has been running guided tours since 2007. Its guides are members of the Malaysian Nature Society and the BirdLife International partner for Malaysia, and the team draws on a collective birding experience of around 25 years to design itineraries targeting more than 250 species, including all ten of Malaysia's hornbills. The company runs multi-day peninsular routes (Central, North, South, plus dedicated Hornbill and Primate tours) and destination-focused trips to Fraser's Hill, Penang, Langkawi, Perlis and Kuala Selangor, as well as extended expeditions into Malaysian Borneo and the Wallacea region. Founder Irshad Mobarak is closely associated with the operation through sister brand JungleWalla Tours.
