Bellbird Tours

Bellbird Tours is an Australia-based birding tour company founded in 2013 by Dutch-Australian birder Peter Waanders, building on Waanders's earlier Southern Birding Services business which began running professional bird-guiding trips in 2002. Headquartered in Adelaide, the operation now runs around 15 contracted guides and four office staff, offering small-group set departures across every Australian state and territory plus international tours to destinations including Borneo, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Norway. The company is best known for its grasswren-focused itineraries (covering all eleven Australian grasswren species across multiple trips), Kimberley and Top End specials targeting Black Grasswren and Hooded Parrot, and arid-zone trips for Princess Parrot and Scarlet-chested Parrot.
