Avocet Tours

Avocet Tours is a Canadian-run birding and wildlife operator based in the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, organising guided trips since the early 2000s. The company runs an extensive Canadian programme covering Newfoundland's seabird cliffs, the Avalon Peninsula, Saskatchewan's crane migration, the Okanagan, Ontario, Alberta and the Pacific coast. Beyond Canada the schedule reaches across the Americas to Mexico, Costa Rica, Trinidad, Colombia, Ecuador, northern Peru, Guyana and Brazil, plus African tours to South Africa, Namibia and Botswana, Asian destinations such as Borneo and Sri Lanka, and trips to Spain and North Queensland. Tours are pitched at small groups with a strong emphasis on identification and trip-list building.
