AnurTour

AnurTour is a Tashkent-based Uzbek tour operator that has run cultural Silk Road programmes for over 17 years and now offers a dedicated nine-day birdwatching itinerary across the country. The Kyzylkum Desert section targets the localised Pander's Ground Jay, while other days work through the riparian forests of the Zerafshan Reserve and the foothills of the Chimgan Mountains for Turkestan Tit, White-winged Woodpecker and Cinereous Vulture. Trips are led by a professional ornithologist guide, run in small groups of four to twelve, and are paired with cultural stops in Samarkand, Bukhara and the heritage sites of the Silk Road.
