Advantage Tours Panama

Advantage Tours Panama is a Panamanian-owned ecotourism operator led by biologist Guido Berguido, who has guided birders professionally in Panama for more than 25 years and has a degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Panama plus a Master's in Tourism Management. The company is best known for managing the Chucanti Private Nature Reserve in the highlands of Western Darién, a remote site that has produced new country records and several taxa described as new to science. Active Harpy Eagle nests in lowland Darién are also part of the regular itinerary, alongside more conventional Canal-zone day tours along Pipeline Road. Advantage runs custom itineraries and small-group departures across most regions of Panama, with conservation funding from tour proceeds reinvested into Chucanti and other private reserves.
