Absolute Carpathian

Absolute Carpathian is a Romania-based nature tour operator founded in 2010 and headquartered in Zarnesti, on the doorstep of the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi mountains. Alongside their well-known bear- and wolf-tracking trips, they run dedicated bird-watching itineraries that pair the forest specialities of the Carpathians with the wetland riches of the Danube Delta. Mountain trips target Wallcreeper, Ural Owl and a strong cast of woodpeckers, while the Danube Delta leg looks for pelicans, herons, Glossy Ibis and breeding raptors, plus Bucovina's rolling foothills for Lesser Spotted Eagle and Red-footed Falcon.
