About
Abdoulie Ndure is a freelance professional bird guide based in The Gambia, leading single- and multi-day birding trips throughout the country and across the border into southern Senegal. He works with visiting tour operators as well as independent clients, drawing on a multilingual background that lets him handle English, French and several West African languages in the field.
His regular sites include the coastal classics around Kotu, Tanji and Abuko, plus upriver stops at Tendaba, Georgetown and Basse for Egyptian Plover, African Finfoot and savanna specialities. He is a member of the Gambia Bird Guide Association and the West African Bird Study Association.
